7 Things I have wondered recently

1) Can spiders drown? Do they have lungs?
2) How long can a spider go without food?
3) How can you need the loo and be thirsty at the same time?
4) Why is the gym so busy on a Wednesday night?
5) Why haven't male penguins evolved to fly? They walk miles every winter to feed their young...they could just fly!
6) What would happen if you managed to keep your eyes open when you sneeze? Would your eyeballs explode?
7) Why is the number 7 so popular as a lucky number?

  1. 1. Yes, they have concertina shaped "book" lungs so yes they can drown.
    2. depends on the type of spider!
    3. old age
    4. Orange wednesdays?
    5. Penguins evolved not to fly as they didn't need to fly to avoid predators but their little wings are better adapted at swimming and avoiding the predators in the water that are more predominant
    6. No, your eyes and nose aren't connected. You close your eyes as a reflex not as a protective measure and the muscles behind your eyes aren't strong enough to push ur eye balls out!
    7. Blame the bible :)
